Program Policy
In person registration is required for all children's programs.
Your Nanuet Library card is required to register.
Preference is given to Nanuet School District residents.
The library reserves the right to cancel any program with insufficient registration.
Please call ahead if you are unable to attend a program, as another child may be waiting.

Family Fun Thursdays, July 10 - 31 at 7:00 PM All Ages not yet in Kindergarten Join Kurt Gallagher for a toe-tappin', hand-clappin' good time! Parent/Caregiver participation required. Siblings may attend if alternate arrangements are not possible. Jumble Trunk Show Saturdays, July 19, 10:15 am or 11:15 am All Ages not yet in Kindergarten Puppets, songs, storygami and lots of other surprises are in store as we open the Jumble Trunk! Parent/Caregiver participation required. |

Lanyard Workshop
Thursday, July 24 at 5:00 PM
Make your first lanyard, or add some new stitches to the ones you
already know. We will have lots of great laces and beads to kick
up your creativity.
All classes are on (1) hour in length.

Programs for Grades 4-5-6 Graduates (Tweens)
Registration for all tween summer programs
begins June 7.
All tween programs require registration before
the day of the event and may be cancelled if enrollment is low.
Limited registration means that the first 12
registrants will be permitted to attend, and all others will be wait
listed.
Programs are limited to Nanuet School District Residents that have just graduated grades 4-6 unless otherwise indicated. Registration for Out of District Tweens starts June 16.

Food Fear Factor Friday, June 13, 3:00-4:30 PM It's Friday the thirteenth and you're in store for something creepy. Treat yourself to a meal containing some of the grossest food combinations ever...and see if you can keep it down. High School Musical Dance Party Monday, July 7, 7:00-8:30 PM Learn dance moves from High School Musical and play the High School Musical karaoke video game on our Wii. Pizza and snacks will be served. Gong Show Practice Sessions Wednesday, July 2, 9 and 23, 7:00 - 8:30 PM The Gong Show Wednesday, July 30 at7:00 PM Be a part of the Nanuet Library Gong Show! If you sing, dance, juggle, act or have a unique talent to share, bring it ON! Individual as well as group contributions will be permitted. Come for practice at the library and get the low down on the rest of the rules. Sarah Lantigua, a musician, singer and dance teacher, will be available to help you choose music or give pointers to improve your act! You must attend at least one practice to participate in the show, and everyone is welcome to come cheer the contestants on! Comedy Writing Workshop Mondays, July 14-28 at 7:00-8:15 PM Howard White house, terrific author and all around funny guy, will teach you to be funny, too. Why write boring stories and emails when you could leave'em laughing? Come learn how. Eat Glass at the Library Wednesday, July 23, 7:00-8:00 PM In honor or our "Catch the Reading Bug" theme this summer, you will create staining glass insects you can eat. Limited registration. The Jester Jim Show: 2008 "Catch It' Tour Thursday, August 7, 7:00 - 8:00 PM Jester Jim does it all: juggling, magic, comedy, and beatboxing. Summer reading program participants that have graduated 4th - 12th grade will earn priority-seating tickets for this hilarious show. Tickets will only be given to Nanuet School District residents ages 9 and up until July 28th. Out of district patrons can pick up remaining tickets after July 28. Children under 9 will not be admitted. |
