Events and Programs
The Nanuet Library holds programs and events for the

educational, cultural, and entertainment needs of the community. 

Regular programs include our book club, local author series,

concerts, film talk and movie series.  To see what is happening

now, please check the newsletter and the monthly calendar.

24/7 Online Reference and Research Databases

The Library is always available online.  The Library has subscriptions
to encyclopedias, reference books and study guides, magazines and
newspapers, price guides, and genealogy sources as online databases. 
You can search for articles or browse the current issue of your favorite
periodical.

 


Download eBooks/eMusic/eVideos
The library never closes at the download center.  Download titles 24/7 to your  PC at home.  You can listen on your MP3 player; iPods are not compatible.  Once you install the free Overdirve software you will be able to download eBooks in the Adobe® Reader®/Adobe® Digital Editions and Mobipocket reader formats, as well as Audio books, Music, and Video.   The Guided Tour and Help center will get you started.

Choose up to three of your favorite authors and we will automatically put their next book on hold for you.  Print out the online form and bring it in to the library the next time you visit.


Homebound Delivery
The Nanuet Public Library is pleased to offer Homebound Delivery, a free service for our neighbors in need.   If you are dealing with a temporary or permanent disability and are physically unable to visit the library, volunteers will mail or hand deliver library material to you.  You may request specific titles, or ask a librarian to make selections for you.   Not all library material is available for homebound delivery.  This program is limited to patrons in the Nanuet School District.
